Body Worlds

Went to this Body Worlds display at the Houston Museum of Natural
Science. Pretty cool thing to see.

I spent some time with someone special this weekend

A very sexy Magnum .44.

Dad and I went shooting this weekend, and I shot the hell out of paper
targets with this baby.

The largest cartridge in the picture is the Mag .44. The line up from
left to right is a .380 auto, a 9mm luger, a .45 auto, and the .44 mag.

Well, I have made a decision

I registered for classes. I am going to start working on my Masters
degree.

However, I am working an angle right now. I have registered as post
baccalaureate and will take classes for the degree this fall, however, I
have to apply for spring semester.

Anyways, I feel that I am making a good choice. I may have to turn down
some opportunities, and I may not.

In case you might be curious. Masters of Science in Project Management
and Logistics (Sounds like a dreadfully boring super hero team).

Infomercials

The only thing I can say is this...

Why do all the actual customers "paid actors" act like the old way is
soooooo difficult?

Oh, I just answered my own question. They are PAID!

There are too many examples, and I know you have all seen them. Feel
free to complain about your favorites.

One of my favorites is the battery operated solering iron. It opens
with "Do you have trouble reaching projects?" And the idoit is yanking
the cord. Here is an idea, move your project closer to your iron!
Sheesh, the fact that the stupid BATTERY powered unit cools immediately
should be enough!

Sheesh, that's my rant, don't even get me started on that damn "folding
closet hanger" or that stupid "vacuum bag" thing. There is a reason it
is sold on TV! Because it is crap!

Oh, by the way, I have been suckered once. NEVER AGAIN.

I think I have ajob, finally

I was rumaging around in my dad's garage, and I happened upon a squeege
and a bucket, along with some old newspaper. I will be working various
intersections along inerstate 45 washing windows. I am very excited
about this new opportunity. Best part is, I won't have to declare my
income to the IRS. Also, it should be a great opportunity to meet
people. There isn't a health plan, but meals are provided at various
soup kitchens. Also, I have spoken with Best Buy, and I have aquired a
very large refrigerator box. It has all the acoutriments of home. The
main storage section will be my living room, and the freezer section
will be my bedroom. Also, since it rains so much in Houston, showers
are readily available. The only problem I forsee will be finding an
power for my laptop, but if I avoid any streets with a "No Outlet" sign,
I should be ok. My research shows that I should expect $5 to $10 per
day! WAY more than I make now. As an added bonus, dancing while
washing windows can increasw my income upwards of 50%.

If you are headed my way, be sure to look for me, and I will give you my
"new business" discount of 15% off. However, this is a limited time
offer, and according to my union, this discount does not apply to
family. Restrictions apply.
