Sitting in the airport at 3.30 AM

So here I am sitting at the airport in Houston. It is 3.30 am, and I opened my laptop and found a wireless connection. So to pass the time I thought I would post a new message.

Of course I don't have anything interesting, but I will take a shot. Getting ready to head down to Grand Junction for 3 weeks. November 5 - 9 Joe, Steve, and I will be headed to Las Vegas for fun and fury!

It is going to be a long day. I have been up since 7.30 Saturday morning (it is early Sunday morning now). I think I am getting a bit delirious.

Thinking about sleeping, but I need to check my luggage and then get to the terminal. Maybe then I can close my eyes for a bit. The good news is, I will sleep easy on the plane.

Hope to have some new pictures up. Maybe have some Colorado photos.

Also, as this note has no significant direction, I spent part of the day shooting pistols. That was fun. My favorite was the .45 cal. But there were some nice 9mm pistols as well. Also, there was a fun little .22 that I liked. I must've gone through 100 rounds.

I have spent my fair share of countless hours in airports during the 8 years of my travels as a Military wife. The worst of my travel memories was the trip from Houston to San Francisco, then San Fran to Seoul, Korea. The flight over was 13 hours long & I had an 18 month old on my lap for that flight. Total travel time ended up being 24 hours from the time I left Houston until arriving at my new apartment above the rice store. I recommend high doeses of Tylenol PM or anything stronger that you might have on hand for the upcoming trip to China.
Hope you're having fun at home. I'm sure you can persuade a few of those old buddies for some late nights out regardless of the fact that they have to work! Eat as much of mom's cooking as you can because no matter how much you might like Chinese food, you will have withdrawals for her home cooking!
We miss you at Briggs! I decided to check your blog yesterday to see if you had updated the site. Good to read the latest. Stay safe & keep us up to date.
